A new collaboration with Reality Check, Cafe 532, & Terrapin Glass!
Enjoy live music by Doug Farrell, Mancala, and get the chance to play with hot glass!
Join us for a night of fun in Jaffrey, NH as we begin participating in the nationwide trend of “First Fridays”.
We are excited to collaborate with Cafe 532 and the 2019 nonprofit of the year - Reality Check, to offer a free night of fun! In a concerted effort to begin a positive culture shift toward having fun without substances - First Fridays are alcohol-free events.
About the Collaborators:
Reality Check in Jaffrey, offers drug and alcohol prevention, treatment, and recovery services to NH residents. Striving to provide more recovery-focused events for people to socialize, they are partnering with local businesses, police, schools, and musicians to send the message that addiction is treatable, and recovery is possible. They are excited to bring in Doug Farrell for musical entertainment.

Terrapin Glass is excited to open up their large gift shop and studio space for this fun, free event. They will have tables set-up with multiple games of Mancala for everyone to play. Mancala is an easy, fun board game played with stones and it is also one of the oldest games still played! We will also be offering Melt your Own Soothing Stone classes in our Flame Shop for anyone ages 12+ that wishes to participate. The cost for that is $20, but we invite the public to watch as well!
Neighboring Cafe 532 will be providing chili and a special to-go menu; get your dinner delivered right to the event!
Our collaborative goal is to provide a safe place for people, including people in recovery from addiction or those seeking it. You are invited to come socialize with like-minded people to rebuild social connections and find much needed hope. Resources will be provided. See you there!
